Do I have to select German as the target?
No. German is fixed as the target language on this page; you only choose the source language.
Will the subtitle timing be rebuilt?
The imported subtitle cues are used as the timing basis. The translation workflow focuses on the subtitle text.
What about ASS styles or VTT metadata?
Complex styling, positioning, karaoke effects, regions or player-specific metadata should be reviewed after translation. Keep the original file as a reference when these details matter.
Can I edit the German translation?
Yes. After import, the translated subtitle text can be reviewed and adjusted in Subvideo before export.
